If you want to enjoy complete flexibility on vacation, you can take advantage of ÖBB's fantastic Rail & Drive offer. This allows you to travel comfortably by train to Liezen or Selzthal, where you can rent one of the vehicles.

But there is an even more environmentally friendly option, with a little planning and flexibility. It is now possible to take the train directly to Johnsbach station. There are even direct connections from Vienna to Johnsbach. This brings you almost to Haus 1683. Several taxi companies are available for the last 10 kilometers.
